Volunteer at the 2010 Sunset Soiree
Interested in volunteering at this year's fundraiser for Youth Pride?
Set Up Crew 4:00-7:00pm
The Set-Up Crew will assist the Youth Pride Coordinator in setting up silent auction tables, attendee check-in tables, VIP specific attendee tables, donations table, and silent auction check-out table. This includes preparing for arrival of the attendees by laying out programs in alphabetical order on the appropriate table. Ensuring the proper check-in sheet as well as a master list is included at each table as well as other supplies as necessary.
Greeters 7:00-8:00pm
Greeters direct guests to the elevators, restrooms, ballroom, and answer questions as necessary
General Registration 7:00-8:15pm
Volunteers at the registration tables are responsible for checking in guests as they arrive and providing them with a their program. Many guests have pre-paid tickets, others will be purchasing and the volunteers will be responsible for processing payment and documenting the necessary information and providing them with their program.
VIP Registration 7:00-8:15pm
Volunteers at the VIP registration tables are responsible for checking in guests as they arrive and providing them with a their program as well as directing them to the VIP section of the event and answering any questions as necessary.
Raffle 7:30-9:00pm
Guests will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to our raffle. The raffle volunteer will manage the payment and documentation as necessary and the distribution of the raffle prize(s).
Coat Check 7:00-11:30pm
Greet guests, hang coats and jackets and provide guests with redemption ticket; at the end of the evening collect tickets and return coats and jackets.
Auction close and Check-Out 8:00-11:30pm
Facilitate the close of the silent auction, prepare necessary documentation, process payments from guests and deliver the purchased items.
Clean-Up Crew 10:30-Done
Volunteers will neatly pack up supplies, auction items, decorations, and tidy the ballroom.
